ESA’s National Training School is excited to announce the release of their new Fundamentals of Networking course. This 4 hour online course provides an extensive foundation for those wanting to learn more about networking basics and the fundamentals of how equipment gets connected and communicates.

Upon completion of the course students will be able to:

  • Describe what a network is and the components that it is compromise of.
  • Identify common topologies of networks.
  • Describe how networks communicate and share data.
  • Differentiate different storage types used in networked systems.
  • Construct a network cable.
  • Describe how a LAN and WAN functions and explain the difference between each.
  • Detail the steps in troubleshooting network problems.

NOTE: Not all state regulatory agencies allow online courses for licensing or CEUs. Please check with your licensing agency prior to taking this course for licensing.
