Oklahoma Training and Testing

The Electronic Security Association is pleased to announce that it is an approved Examination Entity for Alarm licensure by the Oklahoma Department of Labor.

ESA is approved as an alternative examination entity for the following licenses: 

  • OK Certified Alarm Technician Level I exam* meets the requirements for the OK Residential Burglar/Residential Fire Technician/Salesperson exam.
  • Fire Alarm Installation Methods exam meet the requirements for the OK Commercial Fire Technician/Salesperson exam
  • OK Electronic Access Control exam* meets the requirements for the OK Electronic Access Control Technician/Salesperson exam
  • OK Video Systems Technologies exam* meets the requirements for the OK Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Technician/Salesperson exam

*PLEASE NOTE – These are not the regular NTS exams for these courses (CATI, EAC, and VST) as they have been amended to meet the Oklahoma Department of Labor requirements.

To help you attain an Oklahoma license, below are courses that will teach you the critical skills to installing and selling electronic security and life safety systems.  At the conclusion of these courses, the required exam will be given.
