This 2-hours (2 CEU credit) online CEU course is designed to provide students an overview of egress control and exit devices.

Course Description

This course focuses on the general requirements and provisions of Egress Control that have a direct impact on electronic access control systems and the electronic life safety and security industry. Exit devices, which restrict access while providing free egress, are designed to be installed onto the secure side of out swinging doors. After this course students will be able to identify by type the commonly used exit devices for Electronic Access Control systems.

What to Expect in the Online Course:

The course is delivered using a presentation style that is built off the exact same content covered in our instructor led course.  The presentation includes text,audio, graphics, videos and activities to help you absorb the information presented. This course has a short quiz at the end which you will be required to pass with a 70% or greater to complete the course.  

NOTE:  Not all state regulatory agencies allow online courses for licensing or CEUs.  Please check with your licensing agency prior to taking this course for licensing.
