This 3-hours (3 CEU credits) online CEU course is designed to provide information on life safety and occupancies. This course includes information about the following occupancies: Assembly, Education, Day-Care, Hotel and Motel, and Health Care Occupancies. 

Course Description

The Life Safety and Occupancies course focuses on the Building occupancy classifications. These classifications refers to the categorizing of structures based on their usage and are primarily used for building and fire code enforcement. This course will focus on the fire alarm and access control requirements for the most common occupancy classes that students will encounter on a daily basis in the electronic security and life safety industry.

What to Expect in the Online Course:

The course is delivered using a presentation style that is built off the exact same content covered in our instructor led course.  The presentation includes text,audio, graphics, videos and activities to help you absorb the information presented. This course has a short quiz at the end which you will be required to pass with a 70% or greater to complete the course.  

NOTE:  Not all state regulatory agencies allow online courses for licensing or CEUs.  Please check with your licensing agency prior to taking this course for licensing.
